Many techniques of sedation require injections of sedative and even IV's placed in the arm. The problem is that those of us who are needle phobics are just as afraid of that as the dental visit.
But “Oral Conscious Sedation” means you simply take pills for the sedation. We'll make certain you're totally relaxed and comfortable. And even though this procedure is incredibly safe, we'll still monitor you very closely while you're sedated. You'll receive just enough sedation that you'll be completely comfortable, lightly dozing on and off through your dental appointment.
